Personal Trainer Sandyford Rob Smyth

Rob Smyth – Personal Trainer & Owner

I’m Rob Smyth, from Dublin, Ireland. I qualified as a personal trainer in 2004, specialising in anatomy and physiology. I’ve been involved in the sporting industry since a young age, playing at a top level in sports, including semi-professional rugby. But my passion is fitness, health and well being.

I spent two and a half years travelling and working abroad from 2009-2011, on my world-fitness adventure. Visiting 29 countries in all, I witnessed some inspirational stories in fitness. I was lucky enough to train in Muay Thai boxing in Thailand, TRX in San Francisco, Ashtanga yoga in Indonesia, triathlon in Australia, boxing in Sydney and running…all around the world! I was also lucky enough to record two documentaries, one in Las Vegas and another in Thailand!

I’m back home now to share some of my stories and to help educate people in fitness and health – but it’s not all work, I’ll be making you laugh at the same time!

My own fitness goals are to walk to the South Pole, finish an Iron Man, cycle Route 66, climb to Mount Everest Base Camp and the craziest of them all is to row solo around Ireland, just once!

Come and enjoy our high-energy fitness sessions in my private studio on the Sandyford road, Vinny, Julija or myself will train you one-to-one, giving you more than just any average trainer. Our sessions include: goal coaching, nutritional planning, tailored fitness programs, boxing, shopping advice, health history and keeping you accountable for your goals.

Julija Laurusonyte – Personal Trainer & World Athlete

Hi my name is Julija and I am Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and an athlete. All my life, I’ve been very passionate about sports, always had a new goal to achieve, mission to accomplish and new things to discover. Since I was 8, I’ve been an active member of athletic and tennis club. I had competed nationally and internationally. I was 18 when I joined the actual gym for the first time. I’ve discovered a new aspect of training and learning a lot about nutrition. 4 years later I became extremely addicted to the gym, that’s when I’ve decided to turn my passion into a career…

In 2008 I qualified as a Personal Trainer, NCEHS and over the last 5 years I’ve gained more qualifications in TRX, Rip trainer, completed Strength and Conditioning course through KG Elite Ireland, Gravity Pilates course and qualified to teach Les Mills classes. I’ve been working in several different clubs and gyms across Dublin: Arena Leisure, Herberton Leisure, West Wood and UCD Sports and Fitness.

I decided to compete in Fitness/Bodybuilding competition (NABBA) in Toned Figure class in Dublin where I placed 3rd and had the most amazing experience! In October 2013 I competed again in the same Toned Figure class, where I placed 1st and represented Ireland in Miss Universe with NABBA Worlds in June 2014. I’ve represented Ireland for the second time and placed in top 10.

I love helping people to achieve their fitness goals; whether it’s a weight loss or muscle gain, general fitness or maybe you need a little motivation to bring your workouts to the next level along with a simple nutrition plan to follow. I’m here to give you the right tools, to push you to your absolute limits and help you to achieve the results you were always looking for!

I am very passionate about what I do, it’s my hobby, my lifestyle, my everyday life I enjoy every much. Helping people to achieve their desired goals, transforming them into healthier and happier person, and changing their lives for good – this is my drive and motivation!
