About Rob Smyth
I’m Rob Smyth, from Dublin, Ireland. I qualified as a personal trainer in 2004, specialising in anatomy and physiology. I’ve been involved in the sporting industry since a young age, playing at a top level in sports, including semi-professional rugby. But my passion is fitness, health and well being.
I spent two and a half years travelling and working abroad from 2009-2011, on my world-fitness adventure. Visiting 29 countries in all, I witnessed some inspirational stories in fitness. I was lucky enough to train in Muay Thai boxing in Thailand, TRX in San Francisco, Ashtanga yoga in Indonesia, triathlon in Australia, boxing in Sydney and running…all around the world!
I’m back home now to share some of his stories and to help educate people in fitness and health – but it’s not all work, I’ll be making you laugh at the same time!
My own fitness goals are to walk to the South Pole, finish an Iron Man, cycle Route 66, climb to Mount Everest Base Camp and the craziest of them all is to row solo around Ireland, just once!
Come and enjoy my high-energy fitness sessions in my private studio on the Sandyford road, where I will train you one-to-one, giving you more than just an average trainer. My sessions include: goal coaching, nutritional planning, tailored fitness programs, boxing, shopping tour, health history and keeping you accountable for your goals.
